A craft and food market in a wonderful public open space steeped in history, the infamous Pentridge Prison!
Don’t be alarmed, you won't be sent to H division, but rather to the highly modern Piazza, a wonderful public open space with the blue stone heritage walls of the “Big House”' as the backdrop to a brand new retail precinct surrounded by stunning new accommodation complexes.

With prison tours running daily within the precinct, this is a fantastic opportunity to visit this historic site and browse our craft and food market while exploring the grounds. Missing out would be a crime!

While it has its notorious history, this space has been transformed into a vibrant urban setting with a highly modern Piazza and wonderful public open space. Take the prison tour which runs daily and learn about the past, then let the Makers Market at Pentridge transport you into the modern day. You will find our stalls dotted in the outside part of the Piazza, featuring arts and crafts, clothing, jewellery, designer good, beauty products, food and drink.
