What you need to know before travelling to our market
This majestic rural space is located at the Hanging Rock Reserve on South Rock rd, Newham. The market layout is situated in the lower cricket oval in front of the cafe at the base of the rock, featuring grass lawns and meandering roadways and pavilions within the grounds.
Road ways become ‘walkways’ with no traffic access when the market is operating. The surfaces are gravel, bitumen and grass and undulating in places. Shade is limited.
Ground conditions and weather can change at any time. We suggest caution when walking around the market areas; please watch your step, especially with prams and wheelchairs.
For the comfort and safety of all attendees, dogs are not permitted in the market layout. Service dogs with identification are exempt.
